Exports from Scandinavia

No matter whether exports of general cargo, full container loads, goods in bulk, or project cargo are involved, all our knowledge and network of contacts is at your disposal. A speciality of ours is co-loading of consignments into full container loads for individual consignees all over the world. We often take care of looking after and co-ordinating deliveries from the suppliers. That is why were are employed by many companies abroad who import from Scandinavia and also from other parts of Europe.

Imports to Scandinavia

Axel Hofstedt can take care of imports from any country in the world. If you just let us know where the goods are, we can see to it that they are picked up and carried here for delivery to the ultimate consignee. Should the goods already have been despatched by the supplier we can still follow up on delivery, attend to customs clearance, release the goods and arrange for final delivery.

If the goods in a shipment are destined for more than one consignee we can attend to the handling of the goods. We can carry in transit, clear through Customs, strip containers, sort the goods, re pack, and distribute the goods to the various addresses. This is a fast and efficient way and there is neither need for heavy handling on your own premises nor any reason to split up the goods in many small shipments originally.

Goods terminal – Bonded Customs warehouse

Stuffing and stripping of containers take place at our warehouse where we have our own staff familiar with the handling of all kinds of goods. In our warehouse we can store the goods until it is time for customs clearance or for the goods to leave the country. Axel Hofstedt is licensed to store goods for up to two years without clearing the goods through Customs.

The Axel Hofstedt offices and warehouse are in Göteborg, Sweden, also known internationally as Gothenburg. We have excellent connections with the rest of the world no matter if the goods are coming or going by air, truck, boat or rail.

Total service

At Axel Hofstedt we can arrange the whole transport and see to it that the goods are picked up or delivered, carried from airport to harbour, in and out of Customs, from rail station to cargo terminal etc.
